These ledges are selected from only the finest hardwoods. After cutting, drilling, and shaping, the magnets are then precisely inserted and the ledges are hand sanded to a very fine 400 grit. They are then given multiple coats of an oil/varnish/wax mixture. Inviting to touch, these feel like a well-rubbed instrument and will provide you with years of practical beauty.
